Follow this link (http://twitpic.com/kljyt) for the team picture for the 2009-10 NU Men's Basketball team. The Wildcats have new uniforms which for the picture I'm not sure if I like or not. I'll have to see them up close to know for sure. I do know that Drew Crawford looks like he's actually strong which is rare for an NU freshman. Also, NU added walk-on Reggie Hearn to the roster who is the picture wearing #11.

Uniforms look good, except for the number font. The shoes are atrocious.

This is the dorkiest looking NU squad I've seen in years.

Now that Rowley is all tatted up maybe he'll be able to touch the rim?!?

Lunker maybe when you learn to spell tattoo he may be able to touch the rim

Wow, I never thought a team picture would produce so many comments let's relax (and hope Rowley can touch the rim).

If I wanted to say tattooed I would have, tatted is slang for tattoos. Figure it out buddy.

Sorry for the attitude Ryan, it just depresses me to see a big man who struggles to use his size.

It depresses me to see the attitude of some nu supporters like yourself.Understand that Kyle should have been in high school last year but committed early to play in a very physical bigten conference.Instead of being so sarcastic and negative why dont you give Kyle and the players some slack and see what happens this season

The honest fact is that Rowley really didn't use his size well last year even against weaker teams. I liked to say he was a 7-footer who played like he was 5-11. I hope that a year of playing college ball improves that, though, I'm worried the injury will set him back.

Ryan I do understand what you are saying however please note that for his very short playing career in Trinidad and lake forest he mostly played below the basket. If you have an opportunity look back at some of the games and see where he would be playing because of the system.Last year was a big adjustment for him.I will tell you expect major improvements this year

Keith believe me I do hope he improves and can contribute to the system. With his size he should be a force. I do however think I have a right to criticize. I am one of the few people who is a season ticket holder who actually comes to every game. I don't live or work close, but I make the trek to every game regardless of how bad we are or the weather. If I'm essentially helping to pay his way through school then I have a right to criticize his lack of leverage.

When I was at NU my coach reminded me every day how lucky I was to have a scholarship and that I better perform when asked. I would welcome any criticism if I had a brutal game. Also I hate the youth argument. If he was not ready to play then he taken a redshirt.
